Bench trial ends in guilty verdict

A Carbondale man has been found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder.

24-year-old Jarrell Pullen was convicted Friday for the March 2017 shooting death of Javon Trott. He was also convicted on four counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Judge Ralph Bloodworth rendered his decision after deliberating for about 30 minutes. A sentencing date has not been set.

Pullen faces up to 60 years on the murder charges and 25 years to life on the firearms charges.
