Police are investigating an armed robbery in Mt. Vernon.
Police say it happened shortly before 10 a.m. Monday at the Main Street location of Peoples National Bank.
Police say a man in his teens or early 20’s, approximately 5-feet, 4-inches, implied he had a weapon and demanded money.
The man was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and bright blue shoes.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Mt. Vernon Police.
