MURPHYSBORO, IL. (WJPF) – A DuQuoin man has been sentenced to four years behind bars on charges related to a motor vehicle theft.
27-year-old Dilan Shurtz pleaded guilty on Tuesday to the charge of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
Prosecutors say that in March Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle theft in Dowell. Shurtz was caught in the stolen vehicle the next day and arrested.
