CAIRO, Ill. (WJPF) — IDOT has announced the upcoming, temporary closure of the Cairo Bridge for an annual safety inspection.
The over 90-year-old steel truss through deck bridge that carries US 60/62 over the Mississippi will close Monday morning, March 30 and re-open the afternoon of April 2.
Another closure is planned for the second week of April.
