SOUTHERN ILLINOIS (WJPF) — Multiple new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in southern Illinois.
A third case has been identified in Jackson County. The patient is a male in his late teens who is believed to have been exposed to the virus from the second Jackson County case, also a male in his late teens.
A 49-year-old in Saline County has also tested positive for the coronavirus. It’s thought this patient was exposed to the virus while traveling to another country for work.
Another two cases have also been identified in Randolph County.
