(WJPF) — Multiple new cases of COVID-19 were reported Thursday in southern Illinois.
Franklin County
- A female in her forties, believed to have come into contact with the virus through community spread, is currently at home in isolation and doing well.
- A female in her forties, believed to have come into contact with the virus through community spread, is currently hospitalized.
To date, there have been four confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County.
Jackson County
Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jackson County Thursday
- A female in her nineties, believed to have come into contact with the virus through community spread, has died.
- A female in her eighties, believed to have come into contact with the virus through community spread, is currently isolated in fair condition.
- A male in his seventies, believed to have come into contact with the virus through community spread, is currently isolated in fair condition.
To date, there have been twenty-five confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County, including two deaths. Six individuals have recovered enough to be released from isolation.
Pulaski County
Four new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Pulaski County Thursday
- A male in his forties
- Three individuals housed at the Pulaski County Detention Center
To date, there have been four confirmed cases of COVIS-19 in Pulaski County.
Randolph County
Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Randolph County Thursday.
Randolph County health officials have not disclosed the age, gender, or condition of the cases.
To date, thirty-five cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Randolph County. Fourteen individuals have recovered enough to be released from isolation.
Williamson County
One new case of COVID-19 was reported in Williamson County Thursday.
- A female in her fifties, believed to have come into contact with the virus while working in a healthcare setting, is currently at home in isolation and doing well.
To date, there have been ten confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Williamson County.
