CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — One of the three finalists for the chancellor position at SIU Carbondale has withdrawn his name from consideration.
Kenneth Evans, the president of Lamar University in Texas withdrew Sunday.
Two finalists now remain, Austin Lane, the former President of Texas Southern University, and Susan Stapleton, the special assistant to the provost at Western Michigan University.
