CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Congressman Mike Bost (R-Murphysboro) says he’s tested positive for COVID-19.
Bost received the positive test Thursday night.
Bost says he experienced “a mild cough and a rapid loss of both taste and smell.” The 59-year-old says he did not have a fever.
In a statement released Friday morning, Bost says he’ll be isolating at home and postponing his public event schedule. He’ll continue to conduct virtual meetings.
