A Johnston City woman remains hospitalized with serious injuries as a result of a single-car crash Friday night near Creal Springs.
Illinois State Police say 30-year-old Carmen Colson ran off Illinois 166, hit a mailbox and overturned several times. Colson was ejected from the vehicle. She was airlifted from the scene to a regional hospital.
Several fundraisers and a Go-Fund Me page has been established to help the family with medical expenses.
