FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — An Eldorado man has been charged with murder in connection to a fatal stabbing Thursday in Franklin County.
Heath Dunning, 33, is facing a first degree murder charge.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a stabbing at about 8:40 p.m. Thursday near rural West Frankfort. At the scene, deputies found a 50-year-old man dead from a stab wound. His name has not been released.
Dunning was taken into custody at the scene. He’s being held on a $2 million bond.
