Former John A. Logan and SIU basketball assistant John Clancy has been given his chance. He’ll be taking over at Triton College after a season as a top assistant for Kyle Smithpeters at John A. Logan.
Clancy was an assistant at Triton for one season before returning to the area in 2020 to join Smithpeters’ staff.
Triton is a rising program and was in the Top 20 for most of the season, ending the year at #18 in the nation among Division I NJCAA schools.
