Mt. Vernon’s N.J. Benson, who is viewed as a top ten prospect in the state by some publications, announced Wednesday night on twitter that he is down to five colleges to choose from.

Those five choices include Southern Illinois Carbondale, Illinois State, Missouri State, Murray State, and Southern Illinois Edwardsville.
Benson had also received offers from Miami (Ohio), Bradley, Loyola, Eastern Illinois, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Western Illinois, St. Louis University, and Radford.
