SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WJPF) — Another local health department has set a new record high for daily COVID-19 cases.
The Egyptian Health Department, which covers Saline, Gallatin, and White counties, reported 94 cases Tuesday and one death.
Over 300 cases were reported Tuesday across the region. Southern Illinois’ test positivity rate is now at 10.8%.
