MARION, Ill. (WJPF) — MLB all-star turned broadcaster Ray Fosse has died.
The Marion native was 74. His family and Oakland Athletics announced Fosse’s passing late Wednesday.
Fosse announced in August that he had been battling cancer for the past 16 years and was stepping away from the broadcast booth to focus on his health.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
