MILWAUKEE, Wi. (WJPF) — A southern Illinois saxophone player will perform the national anthem at Friday night’s Milwaukee Bucks preseason home game.
Jeff Wisely of Murphysboro was one of only a few musicians chosen out of hundreds who auditioned. Wisely plays an uncommon straight tenor saxophone.
He’s also scheduled to perform the anthem for the Memphis Grizzlies in January 2022.
