Carbondale Police report they responded to an armed robbery Saturday morning.
Officers say the victim was walking westbound on a sidewalk in the 700 or 800 block of West Walnut Street. The victim was approached by the suspect who was walking east on the same street. The suspect displayed the tip of a concealed knife and demanded property. The victim was able to flee and get away. No injuries were reported.
