HARRISBURG, Ill. (WJPF) – An investigation has been opened after a dead body was found in Harrisburg.
The remains of a white male were found at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Pankey Creek, near East Sloan Street.
The victim has not yet been identified. The cause of death is not known.
Illinois State Police are handling the investigation.
