MOUNDS, Ill. (WJPF) – Two shootings are under investigation in Mounds.
The first happened Friday.
Illinois State Police a 17-year-old boy was shot at about 4:45 p.m. in the 100 block of McKinley Street. The teen was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The second shooting happened at about 3:00 a.m. Saturday. A 52-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were both taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Police have not indicated that the shootings are related. No suspects have been announced in either case.
