MURPHYSBORO, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbonale man has been sentenced to 10 year in prison for a violent home invasion.
In December 2021, Carbondale Police were called to a home on Billy Bryan Street for a home invasion in progress. When officers arrived, they found Nathan Bigham, 28, inside the home and fighting with the homeowner on the kitchen floor. The homeowner received an injury to their hand during the fight.
Nathan Bigham pleaded guilty to one count of home invasion. Following his release from prison, he’ll be required to serve 18 months of supervised release.
