John A. Logan women’s basketball picked up another commitment on Wednesday. 6’0 forward Cheyenne Trotter is the latest to sign on with Amanda Shelby and her crew making her the fourth commitment of the past month.
Trotter is a senior at Lanphier High School in Springfield. This past season she averaged 14.3 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals per game. She is an IBCA 3A All-State Honorable Mention player as well.
Trotter joins 6’1 forward Rhylea Johnson (O’Fallon), 5’8 guard Jaden Berry (Plano, TX), and 6’0 forward Tylei Wofford-Byrd (UT Martin transfer) in committing to John A. Logan women’s basketball since March 23.
Logan has also announced the nation’s second leading scorer Jeniah Thompson will be returning next season, as well as starter Madison Calvin, and Carbondale native sharpshooter Faith Halliday.
