EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (WJPF) – The SIU Board of Trustees has approved a $356 million dollar budget for the Carbondale campus.
Included in the 2023 fiscal year budget is a raise for university faculty.
It’s the second year in a row faculty are getting a bump in pay. The average raise will be about 2%.
In July, the board also approved 2% raises, as well an contract extensions and housing stipends for University President Dan Mahony and Chancellor Austin Lane.
