CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man is facing multiple charges after police say he robbed a business and then threatened the police officers who arrested him.
Just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Carbondale Police say 43-year-old Larry Harvey robbed a business in the 800 block of East Grand Avenue, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Harvey was arrested shortly thereafter in the 700 block of South Lewis Lane. Police say it was while officers were placing him under arrest that Harvey began to threaten the arresting officers and their families.
Larry Harvey was taken to the Jackson County Jail on charges of burglary and threatening a public official.
