“Luther: The Fallen Sun“
Idris Elba has played a number of iconic characters, but in the Luther series, he’s disgraced English detective John Luther. Series five was supposed to be the end of it, but four years after that shocking finale, Luther is back. Unfortunately, he’s behind bars and needs to figure out how to get out and capture the psychopath taunting him. After a theatrical release last month, Luther: The Fallen Sun comes to Netflix this weekend, with co-stars Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis, and Dermot Crowley.

“Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence“
Take note, true-crime fans: This new, documentary series explores how a group of students at Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, NY, fell under the influence of conman Lawrence “Larry” Ray, who was eventually convicted of conspiracy, extortion, and sex trafficking (among other offenses) in 2022.

Al Pacino plays the leader of a group of underground Nazi hunters in this series co-produced by Jordan Peele. Inspired by the stories of real-world Nazi hunters over the years, the series is set in New York City in 1977, where a diverse group of Nazi hunters discovers that there’s a plan underway to establish a Fourth Reich in the U.S.

Scarlet Witch, Gamora, Captain Marvel, and the women of Black Panther are all given spotlight episodes, which feature interviews with the actresses who portray these heroines, as well as the women behind-the-scenes who helped bring them to life
