Former Saluki linebacker Jakari Patterson announced Tuesday he is headed to Towson.

The junior linebacker spent four years at SIU. In 19 games, Peterson had 46 total tackles. He picked up three tackles for loss in 2021, intercepted a pass and defended five others.
Patterson was injured in SIU’s heartbreaking 34-31 loss to SEMO on September 10th this past season and did not play the rest of the year.
