CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WJPF) – A drowning man had to be rescued from Crab Orchard Lake Tuesday.
The man was pulled from the water near Carterville Beach a few minutes after 3:00 p.m. He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to recover.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Carterville Police Department, Crainville Police Department, and John A Logan Police all assisted in the rescue.
