The St. Louis Blues inked Oskar Sundqvist to a one-year deal worth $775,000 on Wednesday, bringing him back to the franchise after spending time with the Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild the past season.
The 29 year old had 10 goals and 28 points in 67 contests in the 2022-23 season.
Sundqvist was a member of the Blues from 2017 through 2022 when he was traded to Detroit at the trade deadline. In his first run with the franchise, Sundqvist had 35 goals and 83 points in 242 games.
Sundqvist projects as a bottom-six forward in his return to the team.
