SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WJPF) – Carbondale businessman William Lo has been appointed by Governor JB Pritzker to serve on the state’s Workforce Innovation Board.
Lo is also the co-founder of the popular Facebook group Southern Illinois Eats and the current Executive Director of the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce.
The Workforce Innovation Board has the task of providing businesses with sustainable, no-cost and low-cost strategies to recruit, hire, train, and retain the skilled workforce needed to thrive.
