In light of the tragic accident in Franklin County this past weekend, that saw three high school students pass away and two more airlifted to a hospital, multiple high school athletics have been canceled.
The junior varsity football game between Benton and Du Quoin Monday night has been canceled.
Marion’s freshman and junior varsity contests against West Frankfort are canceled as well.
