CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – SIU Carbondale has received a six million dollar donation.
Roger and Sally Tedrick presented university administration with the money Thursday. It’s the single largest donation in SIU’s history.
The funds will be used to build a new campus welcome center. It’ll be built just off of US 51 and will be named after the Tedrick’s. The welcoming center will house administrative offices, event space, and philanthropy center which will become the new home of the SIU Foundation.
