WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (WJPF) – Three West Frankfort residents were arrested after police found drugs and a gun inside of their car during a traffic stop.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over the vehicle around 11:40 p.m. Thursday in West Frankfort. A police dog did a free air sniff around the outside of the vehicle and indicated narcotics were inside. A search of the vehicle turned up meth, drug paraphernalia, and a gun.
Hunter Karns-Glen, 19, was charged with possession of a firearm without a FOID card. Montana Moore, 25, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Misty Shalabi, 42, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
All three were taken to the Franklin County jail.
