CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man was taken to jail Saturday for unlawfully using a gun in a residential neighborhood.
Dakota Mitchell, 31, was arrested without incident around 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Carbondale Police were called to the 1200 block of West College Street after reports of an armed man ands found Mitchell standing near a rifle.
Dakota Mitchell faces charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
