POPE COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – One person was killed, two more were hurt, in a car crash in Pope County.
The head-on collision happened around 2:00 p.m. Saturday on Route 145.
Police say one victim died at the scene. Two people were flown to area hospitals. Names have not been released.
