FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A resident of rural Franklin County walked in on someone burglarizing their home.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says around 9:30 a.m. Monday, the owner of the property returned to find Kyle Georgi, 20, trespassing inside. Georgi ran when confronted, but was caught a few minutes later by deputies.
Kyle Georgi was taken to the Franklin County Jail on charges of residential burglary and theft.
