MURPHYSBORO, Ill. (WJPF) – Police say the drivers of both vehicles had to be taken to the hospital after a crash involving a minivan and school bus.
The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday on Route 127, south of Murphysboro, near Hoffman Road.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the minivan crossed the centerline and hit the bus nearly head-on. No children were aboard the bus at the time. The driver was the only occupant of the van.
