WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (WJPF) – A West Frankfort man is facing unlawful restraint and assault charges after police say he held a family member hostage with a handgun.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says no one was hurt in the roughly two hour ordeal that started around 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
William Ice, 73, eventually exited the home and surrendered to police without a fight.
