The storms Thursday night hit Nashville, Illinois hard.  So hard, in fact, that their historic Assembly Hall had it’s roof pulled off.

Nashville Community High School Athletic Director Shaun Renth was able to confirm the damage to 103.5 ESPN Friday morning.

Assembly Hall has been home to several Hornets and Hornettes historic moments for their boys’ basketball, girls’ basketball, and volleyball programs since 1975 when it was built, including this year’s Girls 2A Sectional. The Hornettes won in front of their home fans over Breese Central 46-34 on February 22 to claim this year’s Sectional title.
