Former Saluki Marcus Domask announces intention to enter NBA Draft

Former SIU star Marcus Domask, who helped lead the University of Illinois to the Elite Eight this past season in the NCAA Tournament, has announced his intention to enter the NBA Draft.

The future Saluki Hall of Famer spent his first four seasons at SIU.  He joined SIU Hall of Famer Darren Brooks as the only other Saluki to score 1,600 points and have 500 rebounds and 300 assists.  He finished his career at SIU ranked ninth in career scoring with 1,615 points across 106 games.

Domask averaged 15.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists when he stepped on the floor as a Saluki.

Chris Carr was the last former Saluki to be drafted in 1995.  Troy Hudson was the last former Saluki to make it to the NBA, he went undrafted in 1997.
