John A. Logan men’s basketball earned a big pickup on Sunday. D’Necco Rucker, an incoming 6’5 sophomore guard, announced his commitment to the Vols’ program.

Rucker, a Belleville native, played for Colby Community College in Kansas last season. He averaged 13.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 31 games. He shot 45.6% from the field and 41.0% from the three-point line. His three-point percentage was 8th in the NJCAA.
He was also 4th in the NJCAA in free throw percentage (82.7%).
