Elliott, who was listed as a junior last season, is a 6’1 guard that played for UT Rio Grande Valley the past two seasons. Last year, he was a force to be reckoned with at the helm of the WAC team scoring 16.6 points per game. He also averaged 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.6 steals in 30 games.
The Vaqueros finished the year on a 13-game losing last season but in that time Elliott attempted to put his team on his back, scoring 20+ in seven of those games and had a 40-point outing at Stephen F. Austin on February 8.
