Benton point guard Isaac Billington announced his commitment to SIU men’s basketball on Instagram Saturday morning.

The 6’1 Billington was the straw that stirred the drink at Benton this past season, being able to shoot from anywhere on the court and was also effective in passing and defending. He averaged 14.3 points and 3.5 assists in the 2023-24 season.
The senior point guard led Benton to their first ever appearance in an IHSA State Title game, losing to Chicago Phillips 54-47.
In May, Billington originally committed to Rend Lake College before flipping to SIU.
