(WJPF) – At least three area schools were threatened on social media over the weekend.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says the first report of a threatening Facebook post came in around 7:00 a.m. Sunday. At least two other schools received similar threats.
The threats were ultimately deemed not credible. Investigators say the Facebook profile responsible was based in another country.
