John A. Logan College point guard and Carterville native Caden Hawkins received an invitation to the All-American JUCO Showcase on Wednesday.
The event is July 12-14 in Atlanta, GA. The Showcase features the top rising sophomores in junior college basketball. More than 400 coaches attend the event and NBA scouts and national media are in attendance as well.
Hawkins averaged 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists for the Vols this past season while shooting 48.4% from the field and 42.0% from the three point line.
He started in 24 of 31 games for the Vols, solidifying himself as part of the starting lineup on December 6th when the Vols hosted Three Rivers.
