John A. Logan point guard Caden Hawkins isn’t the only John A. Logan men’s basketball player to be featured at the All-American JUCO Showcase in Atlanta, GA this weekend.
River Radio Sports learned on Wednesday that big man Cam Boone, guard Julian Norris, and incoming guard D’Necco Rucker have all received invitations to the Showcase event this weekend as well. All three plan to attend with Hawkins.
Boone averaged 4.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 21 games last season for the Vols. He shot 55.6% from the field.
Norris was one of the leaders of the Vols last season, averaging 15.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 27 games. He shot 46.4% from the field and 40.4% from three.
Rucker is transferring to John A. Logan College for this coming season. He played at Colby Community College last season. In 31 games, he averaged 13.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists. He shot 45.6% from the field and 41.0% from the three.
