Ground was broken on Thursday at John A. Logan College for the new Harrison-Bruce Player Development Center.
The Center will be a new training facility for baseball and softball athletes at John A. Logan College, as well as athletes from all over Southern Illinois.
The facility will have locker rooms for teams, an indoor training space, and a batting lab for player development.
The Harrison-Bruce Foundation donated $2.3 million in November to help build the facility.
