INA, Ill. (WJPF) – Two people have been arrested for child pornography in Ina.
28 year old Tyler Stover and 25 year old Julie Bulthuis were arrested for Jefferson County warrants, each with the criminal charge of Child Pornography.
The investigation began when a complaint was made to Mt. Vernon Police on July 1st. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office ended up taking over the investigation where detectives executed search warrants the next day at a residence in Ina. Evidence was obtained and submitted for forensic analysis.
The investigation revealed evidence of criminal activity, which also involved a victim who was a juvenile family member.
Both Stover and Bulthuis were taken to the Jefferson County Jail where they await a pre-trial detention hearing.
