HERRIN, Ill. (WJPF) – The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire in Herrin.
According to the Herrin Fire Department, firefighters were called out around 11:00 a.m. Thursday for a shed fire on South 17th Street. They say they found a large outbuilding fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was put out quickly and no injuries were reported.
