The Mt. Carmel Golden Aces were victorious at the Girls’ Golf Benton Invite on Thursday.
The team broke Mt. Carmel’s 18-hole school record with a team score of 281, blowing out the competition with 2nd place Marion posting a team score of 359.
Aces senior star Emily Gottman also broke the school record for an 18-hole individual performance. Gottman posted -7, 65 to win the event, besting Marion star Grace Roper by four strokes.
