Thursday night, the Cathy Black Invitational at NCOE saw a championship matchup between NCOE and Carmi-White County.
The Fighting Cardinals and Bulldogs met earlier this year in the Fairfield Kickoff Tournament semifinals, which CWC came out on top to advance to the finals and eventually win. NCOE won the rematch this time 25-18, 25-18.
The Cardinals improve to 12-1 and hand Carmi-White County their first loss of the season – they also sit at 12-1 now.
