CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A remembrance event is happening tonight in Carbondale.
The “Once a Saluki, Always a Saluki” remembrance is happening from 6pm until sunset September 30 at Becker Pavilion on Campus Lake.
The event is hosted and planned by the SIU Undergraduate Student Government to honor all students who have died in recent years, including three Salukis who passed away this month.
The event is open to students and the community.
