Anna-Jonesboro Community High School named Mike Chamness their next Athletic Director earlier this week.
Chamness takes over for Rick Livesay, who recently suffered personal tragedy.
Chamness is also the boys’ basketball coach at Anna-Jonesboro; he has been in that role since 2010. In 14 seasons, he has collected a record of 169-233.
Chamness graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School in 2004. He attended SIU and competed on the Men’s Track team as a high jumper.
